General overview
Beautiful, modern, clean, spacious, family-friendly island home with large outdoor lanai (porch). Conveniently located in Kapaa near restaurants, grocery stores & shopping. Park with playground, hiking trails, and beach within walking distance. Kapaa is located on the East side of Kauai and is a great town to stay in because of its central location. You will have easy access to all sides of the island and are only 15 minutes from the airport. We may be biased but Kauai is our favorite Hawaiian island. If you are looking for a laid back vacation, gorgeous beaches, stunning mountains & waterfalls, awesome hiking, cute towns, and friendly people, this is where it’s at.
The space
Main living area features an open floor plan. Spacious, open kitchen with an island opens up to a large dining room table and a living room area with comfortable seating and big screen tv. Home has 3 bedrooms as well as an office. Master bedroom is spacious with a king sized bed, a TV, and a floor AC unit. Second bedroom has a queen bed. Third bedroom has a trundle bed with two twin mattresses. Office has a desk and computer and can accommodate an air mattress. Master bathroom has deep freestanding soaking bathtub, walk-in shower, and double vanity. Second full bathroom with shower/tub combo.
Large outdoor lanai with outdoor furniture where you can sit and enjoy the warm weather.
Guest access
Sleeps 6 in beds. Mini crib and pack and play available. We have a couple of air mattresses available also.
We do not have air conditioning so we recommend turning on the ceiling fans and opening the windows to let in the island trade winds.
If you have kids we have lots of toys and books for them to enjoy. We have scooters and bikes they may use. We also have beach stuff like towels, chairs, umbrella, & boogie boards.
Notes
We have an orange kitten named Mango. He is sweet and kid friendly. He will need to be fed & watered. He uses his kitty door to go in and out so it should be left open.

Neighbourhood
We live at the end of a cul-de-sac in a family-friendly neighborhood. Mahalo for helping us maintain good relationships with those around us in this local neighborhood by being courteous and respectful. Please keep the noise down after 10 pm.

We recommend having a vehicle when visiting Kauai. There is lots to see! We have a Toyota Sienna minivan available for use. Seats 8. Car seats and booster seats available.
