We are surrounded by open air landscape, mountains and a small wood. Our small town has a lot to offer such as hot water swimming pools, best ice cream in the world, skiing during winter, restaurants, bars and cafe´s, one mall, many shops downtown center, many grocery stores, a concert hall, theatre, live music bar, museums of all sorts and many interesting places to visit in our nearby countryside

Akureyrar airport is only 5 minutes from where we live

Getting around

Best thing is to rent a car and be free to go wherever you want but it also possible to use our local bus which is free of charge but only drive one time pr. hour
