General Overview

We love our relaxed beach house holiday feel; the ideal base to explore Port Macquarie and the region. We are inviting singles, couples or families to stay, and we have a large family friendly house. We thoroughly enjoy living in Port Macquarie. There's so much to do, and located midway between Brisbane and Sydney, so the ideal stop to break up the drive and experience the bush, beach, yoga, surfing, bike riding, nature, cafe's, restaurants, art, fishing ... the list goes on. Our home is located a short stroll to 3 beaches! Just grab a towel and in minutes you will be on the pristine sands of 3 magnificent beaches – Flynns (patrolled), Nobbies (dog beach) or Oxley - they are all so close the choice is yours. Enjoy a superb coastal walk to town via Breakwall, or enjoy the local cafes and restaurants - all within walking distance.

The Space

Single or couple: We invite you to stay and have sole use of the spacious retreat - king size bed, modern ensuite and living area. This could also be a host option. The retreat doesn't have a kitchen, but you are more than welcome to join us, share the kitchen or weber, or enjoy the range of amazing food options available in Port Macquarie. Families: all options could apply. Open to suggestions. Looking forward to connecting and discussing. Take your pick where to hang out - chill out in the hammock on the deck, there's a downstairs rumpus room off the pool, or a couple of living areas in the home. Three bedrooms in the home too. The house is equipped with modern appliances including an expresso coffee machine, reverse cycle air conditioning in the main living room and retreat, ceiling fans in the bedroom, WIFI and washing machine.

Guest Access

There is side access to the guest retreat, so you don't need to go through the house if you don't want to. There are 12 steps to your front door.

It's a short, picturesque walk into town on the coastal walk, or the bus stop is just around the corner.

Karyn

During 2025 our home is unavailable. We will become active members in this wonderful community after that. Happy travels everyone. We are a family of four who love making connections and experiencing new cultures and environments. We also love a bit of adventure so visiting new places, meeting people and having new experiences is something we love doing as a family. We have loved every minute of our time House and Pet sitting and can share some great references because we are houseproud - people comment that we leave the home cleaner than when we arrived - we pride ourselves on this. We are great with keeping the lawn and garden maintained and have a pool so we are experienced in the maintenance of a pool too. We love animals, and have lived on property (with cows, chooks and horses). We regularly dog sit when friends go away, and we have formally house and pet sat through formal housesitting sites. Jason and I have previously managed a resort as live in duty management and have successfully run our home as a short stay accommodation. Oh, and non-smokers, safe and respectful.
