General overview

Plan an unforgettable stay in your Lake Norman waterfront home featuring 2 King en-suites, both offering water views. Play on 150 ft of shoreline which includes a raised sandy beach, spacious private dock with shade, paddle boards, kayak, and deep water. WALK to nearby restaurants, shops, and events. After a day of fun, roast s’mores at the firepit, play foosball in the gameroom, or watch movies in the kids playroom.

The space

This home is thoughtfully decorated to provide a luxurious space bringing everyone together: tall ceilings and walls of windows with big lake views. Plenty of areas to enjoy togetherness are on the 1st floor: kitchen, living room, dining room, gameroom, and outdoor deck with hot tub (plus laundry room and powder room). Chefs will love preparing meals in the gourmet kitchen with table, countertop seating, 6 burner italian stove, convection oven, and grill on the deck. The kitchen is open to the great room with direct access to the deck with Hot Tub. The open floor plan continues into the dining room. Compete in the gameroom at foosball, electronic darts, and more. One of the primary en-suites provides easy access to all 1st floor amenities. Guests in this King bedroom appreciate an oversized soaking tub, swiss shower, lake views, large screen TV, chest of drawers and direct access to outdoor screened in hot tub. Upstairs is an additional King en-suite. Sleep in and gaze at the birds swooping over the lake. Enjoy another private bathroom, large TV, and walk in closet. Enjoy 2 Queen bedrooms and more upstairs. Kids will especially love the secondary family room with 4 twin beds, low game table, and theater style chairs to play or watch TV. Giant Jenga anyone? Another full bathroom is shared. Outside is a lakefront playground. The raised sandy beach area is a tranquil spot for children to play near the water. Adventure on LKN with 2 stand up paddleboards and 1 child kayak. Swim from your dock with ladder. Guests rave about the large personal dock whether they love sun or prefer shaded seating. Visitors have hooked Perch, Bluegill, Striped Bass, Largemouth and Smallmouth from the dock. Be the 1st to reel in a Crappie. Bring your fishing gear! Anglers can easily share the water for soaking up the lake or competing for the biggest cannonball. You are going to sleep well tonight! Before bed, head to the firepit to roast marshmallows and tell ghost stories. Young and old love to hang out together by the fire as it snaps and crackles while the light reflects off the lake. Do it all again tomorrow starting with coffee on the deck or dock. The lake is usually calm in the mornings reflecting the whole cove. Keep your eyes peeled for King Fischer, Eastern Bluebird, Red-tailed and Coopers Hawk, Osprey, and Great Blue Heron (we call the big blue guy Gus). Much more variety of beautiful birds. Guest favorites are the wintering Bufflehead, adorable! Tired from life on the lake? Nap on the hammock. Whether you are super-active or laid back, boredom will be banished. One minute you will be paddling, swimming, or fishing and the next lounging at the dock sipping sangria. Lake Norman provides a vibrant backdrop for tons of photo opps. Reds are redder, blues are bluer and greens are emerald. When you combine the lake with food, outdoor activities, and watersports you connect with loved ones. BBQ on the grill or walk to a dozen + restaurants, breweries, ice cream, or wine shops. Play trivia, Bingo, and take in live music. Tap room offers Kids Day every 1st Saturday 1-3pm. All under a mile. (No sidewalk 0.2 miles) Easy access to I-77.

Early retired professionals. We love world travel that includes outdoor adventures. We love to walk to town and don't mind driving to natural beauty. Sometimes, we might be interested in traveling with our adult children or another couple, but only if that works for you. We are very tidy and house-proud, non smokers who will care for your home.
