General overview
Cozy and renovated guest house with high end finishes on 14 acres. You will have access to our pool, outdoor pavilion with full outdoor kitchen, grill, big green egg, pool toys and full bathroom by the pool. We are located in Greensboro, GA / Lake Oconee. Our town is known for having some of the top golf courses in the country. The Ritz Carlton lake oconee is also a big draw to the area and open to the public. Our property does not have lake access, however we are less than 5 minutes away from The Boathouse Marina, which you can go to for lake access.
By boat, we are less than 15 minutes boat ride to Ritz Carlton. The Ritz property is amazing and you are able to enjoy their restaurants, playground, spa and a few other amenities without being a guest.
We are a small town, with lots of cute little shops and locally owned restaurants.
The space
The Guest house is located at the end of the driveway.
The house has 1 bedroom(feels like a 2 bedroom) 1 bathroom, The bedroom has a queen size bed and a "bedroom nook" (almost like a second bedroom) with a full size bed and pullout and portable bed. We also have a portable crib available upon request.
Fully equipped kitchen with high end appliances and Bosh induction range, spacious living room, dining room and laundry room.
We are an all natural / non toxic household. All bedsheets and towels are washed in natural, organic and non toxic laundry detergent, All our cleaning products are all natural/ non toxic and we have an air purifier available upon request. We can also provide all natural shampoo, conditioner and body wash upon request.
Due to allergies in our household, we do not allow any pets.
Guest access
You will either receive a code to a lockbox or we will coordinate for someone to be at the property at your arrival time.
Notes
The main house is our primary residency but if you're staying at our house, we will most likely be out of town. We usually allow guests to stay only while we are away because my husband's home office is in the guest house. The guest house actually has 2 bedrooms but since we use one as my husband's home office, it stays locked.
We may allow short weekend stays while we are home depending on my husband's schedule.

Neighbourhood
The neighborhood has a tennis court, pickleball court and basketball court. It is a very walkable neighborhood. There are a lot of lakefront house and a few off lake houses. We are off lake on 14 acres.
Getting to my home
We are about 1 hr and 30 minutes east Atlanta, towards Augusta. If you are flying into Atlanta, your best option is to rent a car and drive. You will need a car to get here and there is no public transportation and no Ubers available in the area.
Nearest airport
The Closest Airport is the Atlanta Airport and second closest is the airport in Augusta, GA.
Getting around
You will need a car to get around. This is a small town with lots of small town charms. Not many chain restaurants, no Target, no Walmart, no Homegoods or large chain retail stores. This was actually the draw for us and why we moved here. Most restaurants are the "mom and pop" type places and locally owned. There are a lot of cute boutique type shops all over town and in downtown Greensboro and downtown Eatonton. We do have a very nice Publix about 15-20 minutes away. On Saturdays, there is a really farmers market located at The Harmony crossing shopping center.
