Neighbourhood
The neighborhood has a tennis court, pickleball court and basketball court. It is a very walkable neighborhood. There are a lot of lakefront house and a few off lake houses. We are off lake on 14 acres.
Nearest airport
The Closest Airport is the Atlanta Airport and second closest is the airport in Augusta, GA.
Getting Around
You will need a car to get around. This is a small town with lots of small town charms. Not many chain restaurants, no Target, no Walmart, no Homegoods or large chain retail stores. This was actually the draw for us and why we moved here. Most restaurants are the "mom and pop" type places and locally owned. There are a lot of cute boutique type shops all over town and in downtown Greensboro and downtown Eatonton. We do have a very nice Publix about 15-20 minutes away. On Saturdays, there is a really farmers market located at The Harmony crossing shopping center.
