We live in East Orlando, no not next door to The Mouse or Harry Potter but you can be at Disney World/Universal Studios/Sea World or the beach in 45 minutes from our home.
We have a 3 bedroom 2 bath with a pool and a swimmable lake. The pool has a built in spa so summer or Florida winter it is amazing.
We live on an acre down a little gravel road but you can be in downtown Orlando in 20 minutes. Lots of good eats nearby or just make it in our kitchen. You will need a car to stay here Orlando is not walkable.
We have a pack and play, high chair and plenty of baby to 6 year old toys and games. Car seats from birth to age 7 in the garage-just let us know what you need and we will pull them down for you. Bicycles for children also provided.
The space
Currently the house is a 3brdm 2 bath but we will be adding a new back patio and a master suite in the next 6 months.
2 bedrooms have queen sized beds and 1 with a king. Living room has a queen sleeper sofa if needed. Pack and play if needed.
Kitchen is well stocked and everything you will need to cook at home. If you are not looking for home cooked meals just pop something in the air fryer or use your Uber Eats/Grub Hub app and order in.
The living are is open with a beautiful and relaxing view of the lake and pool. The pool and spa are heated and super fun and relaxing year round.
Yard is one acre so lots of room to run and play.
Our lake is swimmable. When you swim in Florida you have to know that there could always be something in the water but I swim regularly and have only ever seen ducks and fish. Our neighbors are always on alert for gators and did remove one in 1986. Since then no gators have been noticed.
We have a peddle boat, canoe and kayak for your use while you are here.
We do not have pets so no worries with pet allergies. We do love pets so if we are doing a simultaneous swap we are happy to love on yours while you are away.
Guest access
This is a single story home but has two steps to get into so not good for wheelchairs. Otherwise easy to maneuver around.
Notes
Pool and lake are swim at your own risk. We will have the child safety gate up unless you ask for it to be taken down. If you have small children we recommend leaving it up and use one area to enter. We have several life jackets available for use on the lake (or pool).

Neighbourhood
We are one mile from a large park with a biking/running trail. We are 2 miles from the University of Central Florida.
Easily drive to Central Florida beaches. Cocoa is the closest but Daytona/New Smyrna/Melbourne are all very easy to get to for a day of fun in the sun.
Disney World, Universal Studios, and Kennedy Space Center are all less than an hour away.
Downtown Orlando has a fun city vibe with lots of sports, bars, and activities.
Getting to my home
You will want to fly into Orlando International Airport or Sanford International Airport. We are a 25 minute drive from either airport.
Your GPS will get you here. We are the blue house with the yellow door (per the pictures)
Nearest airport
25 minutes to Orlando or Sanford International
Getting around
You will want to rent a car to stay here. Orlando is not very walkable and limited public transportation. You can Uber or Lyft easily but a car would be much more economical.

2 adults 50+. We love traveling and learning about new areas. We are new to this type of travel but very excited to try it out. I am a Midwife-Nurse Practitioner and my husband is an engineer. We are quiet but fun loving. We respect others property like it is our own.
At time our married daughter and her husband travel with us (late 20s). No traveling Grandchildren…yet!
