General Overview

We recently purchased our home, drawn to it by the mesmerizing views that Roxborough Park is famous for... With Pike National Forest in back of the home, dramatic, billion year old red rock formations in front and even the Denver skyline from the top level, words simply can’t describe the expansive ever changing vistas that transform throughout the day with the sun! Wrapped in glass with views on every side of the home, you feel as though you are living inside a painting while the artist is still painting it! The 4600+ SF home already had wonderful architectural features like a 20 x 30 foot great room with 20 foot ceilings, a 750 SF primary suite and a huge wrap around deck, but we are just finishing a major renovation that includes an all new kitchen with beamed ceiling, all new appliances including a 48 inch Thermador range top, all new custom cabinets and quartz counters! New wood flooring throughout the main level and a new primary bath that includes a see through fireplace! We have 3 large bedrooms. The primary has a king bed, 2 separate sitting areas, an outdoor deck, fireplace and all new bath. There are 2 more large bedrooms, both with on-suite baths and king beds. Additionally, there is an office/bedroom with a pull-out double bed. Situated on a 1 acre lot, our home offers tremendous privacy and a spectacular, iconic Colorado landscape without leaving the Denver metropolitan area! If you have ever visited Garden of The Gods or the Red Rocks amphitheater, you’ll have an idea of our home’s setting! The gated community is home to Arrowhead Golf Club which has been critically acclaimed as one of the most beautiful golf courses in the US. The neighborhood is also known for it’s custom built homes, upscale luxury lifestyle, tranquility and wildlife viewing opportunities. Since this is our primary residence, we are mostly interested in shorter exchanges of a week or less, but we will consider any request!

We recently moved to Colorado just south of Denver from Amelia Island Florida. We still own a vacation rental there (which we also periodically Home Exchange). Joe is a former senior executive at two major global technology companies. Joan has been a real estate broker for 30+ years and still owns a real estate company on Amelia Island.. We have a son and daughter-in-law who live in Chicago (Lincoln Park) and a daughter, son-in-law and new baby granddaughter who live in Denver (the reason for our move!). We love traveling and are open to many exchange locations. We have completed 19 very successful exchanges on another home exchange site. And, as experienced vacation rental hosts, we know how to take great care of guests and have extensive information available to help folks get as much out of their stay as possible. Since we own a real estate company and a vacation rental, we are very attuned to caring for homes which we will do with yours! We are interested in shorter exchanges with similar upscale homes of a week or less. And we are mostly interested in the US or Canada, but will consider any request!
