General Overview
Welcome to Sidney! Our house is spacious and bright and has an ocean view! The house is surrounded by a large front and back garden. From the dining room or from the sundeck you can enjoy amazing sunrises while taking your early morning coffee.
The Space
The house will nicely accommodate a couple and two other guests and is very well located in a secure and private setting. You are welcome to use both back and front yard. There is ample space for parking on the driveway.
Guest Access
Guests access the house with a code which will be sent, along with useful instructions, a few days before arrival. Stairs are leading to the main floor. Unfortunately, the house doesn't suit for wheelchair users.
Notes
- Our friendly and respectful tenants (parents and a 9y old daughter) are living in the basement. They have their own entrance at the back of the house. The laundry room is shared with them (they usually use the washer and dryer 2 days a week, the other days are for you).

Neighbourhood
You may choose from a variety of activities whether you like to go for a short walk along Roberts Bay, do some kayaking or paddleboard along the coast, go biking on the Peninsula along the Lochside trail or go further to one of the many regional, provincial and national parks during a day or weekend trip.
We are footsteps from Mermaid Creek delta, one of the wildlife viewing hotspots of Shoal Harbour Migratory Bird Sanctuary (simply said Pacific Great Blue Heron, Osprey, Bald Eagle, Black Oystercatchers and various species Sandpipers, Gulls and Cormorants will be your neighbours this summer).
Getting to my home
- ferry: hourly sailings from Vancouver Tsawwassen terminal. Swartz Bay ferry terminal (6 km) is 10 min away or 15' with bus 72
- airport: Victoria Internation Airport (YYJ) is 6 km away.
- biking: we are along the 29 km long Lochside trail, which goes from Swartz Bay ferry terminal to downtown Victoria.

Victoria International Airport is 6km away (10 min drive)
Getting Around
Downtown Sidney is 1.1 km away, a nice 15'-20' walk. Bus 72 takes you downtown Victoria in 50 min (26 km). You can also get bus 70 in downtown Sidney which is a little faster (40 min to downtown Victoria).
