General Overview
This beautiful modern home is situated in a valley, so there are gorgeous mountain views out every window. It is located 10 miles north of Anchorage, so you get to enjoy small town Alaska with access to the “big city”. We have moose and sometimes bear that walk our property. Lots of hiking, world class fishing, skiing and more nearly right out your doorstep.
The Space
3 floors with all bedrooms on top floor (2 queen beds and one twin bed in the 3 bedrooms) living room and kitchen on main floor and TV room and exercise area in daylight basement. There is an office with a queen size futon in basement area as well and we have a twin size blowup mattress. There is an enclosed/fenced backyard with a garden and greenhouse. There are toys appropriate for older kids in 8-12 year old range.
Alaska custom is to take off shoes on entry to the house, so we ask that rule is respected. We also expect our items to be respected as this is a lived in home. Finally, we expect the house to be left in the condition you found it.
Guest Access
The house is 3 stories with about 10 stairs to enter main living area.
Notes
A car may be available for use. There are 2 cats that would require being taken care of, but they are easy with no medical issues and can be left alone up to 3-4 nights if you want to explore another area.

Neighbourhood
It is a hilly neighborhood with few sidewalks, but still good for morning walks and pretty views. We are close to 3 grocery stores and some restaurants and only a 25 minute drive to downtown Anchorage.
Getting to my home
From the Anchorage airport it’s a 30 minute drive via taxi, shuttle or Uber. Unfortunately, no public transportation option.

Getting Around
A car should be available that can seat at least 5 (Subaru Forester or Ford F-150) and we may have our 7 seater Toyota Highlander available as well.
