Neighbourhood
Our home has a small garden with nice views of a forrest. Its located in a family friendly area with several playgrounds a football field/ basketfield and several lakes nearby. If your are lucky you can see some animals eating in the nature around our home, most of the time dears but sometimes you can spot a Moose. In our garden and the forest around us you can find a blend of berries that you can eat.
The lake is just a five-minute walk away, perfect for swimming in the summer and skating in the winter. You are more than welcome to use our outsidetoys like skates, sledges etc.
Mölnlycke center is a 5 minute drive away and offers a range of stores: supermarkets, clothing stores, pharmacy, restaurants and cafes. We have 2 golf courts nearby and close to skiing wintertime (when there is snow).
Gothenburg City (second biggest city in Sweden) is only a couple of minutes away. You can go by car or bus (or bike) – the bus leaves about every 6 minutes and brings you to Gothenburgs citycenter within 10 minutes,Or you can cycle (30 minutes).
If you prefer the city, Gothenburg’s beautiful city centre offers great shopping, culture and a large range of restaurants and cafes to suit every budget.
Liseberg - Scandinavian biggest amusement park, the world of Culture museum and Universeum science center are only 10 minutes away and the city has much more to offer in ways of museums and many play-parks who will definitely keep children busy!
WestCoast:
The westcoast is probably best-known for its coastline with smooth rock formations perfect for sunbathing, as well as for its fishing. Its seafood such as lobster and oysters are among the best in the world!
The archipelago consists of 8,000 islands, islets and reefs. The seascape environment is spectacular with calm, protected waters for kayakers of all levels with no strong currents or tides.
The small islands and villages that make up the Bohuslän archipelago are relaxing, but can be adventurous if you want them to be. Some of the best destinations that you should look out for include the Koster Islands, a part of the new Marine National Park, which boasts more sunshine hours than anywhere else in Sweden, as well as the wonderfully-named Väderöarna (“Weather Islands”) with ther seal colonies. You can also paddle around more protected by islands in the Fjällbacka archipelago or head to the picturesque islands of Orust and Tjörn.
Gothenburg is situated so you easily visit three of the Scandinavian capitals: Stockholm, Oslo and Copenhagen.
The capital of Sweden, Stockholm, is only a 3 hours trainride away, as is Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark. You can also drive to Oslo, the capital of Norway. It is only a 3 hours car ride away!
