General Overview

On the border of Umbria, Tuscany and Lazio in beautiful Umbria, located in the village of Torre San Severo, our home is available for one-week long stays, Saturday to Saturday.

The Space

The home was built in the 16th century and is a completely restored farm house on about an acre of land. It is private but not isolated. A private pool for guest use offers welcome relief from summer heat. Umbria is greener than Tuscany and gets more rain. There are flowering fruit trees and landscaping to shade the house as well.

Guest Access

There are stairs so the house is not suitable for anyone with limitations on using stairs.

Notes

We have a local family to greet you, and contact in case of emergency. We are in California. When you have a proposal accepted for specific dates, you will be supplied with a link to the house handbook which includes specific directions, details on checking in and checking out, suggested activities and the combination to the wall safe.

Neighbourhood

There are many local restaurants, a beautiful lake nearby, the sea is about 1.25 hour's drive. You are 15 minutes from Orvieto. Rome is 1 hour to the south. Florence is two hours to the north.

Getting to my home

A car is required. Fly into Rome airports and either take the train to Orvieto where you can pick up a rental car, or rent a car from the airport and drive to the house.
