Apartment in a quiet wooded neighborhood, near a long and lovely beach that you can sometimes have all to yourselves in the quieter months. 5km from Tarragona, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Small mini-mall just 200 meters from the flat with grocery, pizzeria, café, etc.

The space

70m2, sea views, quiet, large balcony w bbq. Sleeps 2 adults (a couple) and one child. 1 main bedroom + office/extra bedroom. Living room with fireplace and open kitchen that opens onto balcony with barbecue.

The surrounding area has quite a lot to offer in addition to the beaches and the city of Tarragona: A sailing club on the beach Rental of kayaks, paddleboards and windsurfers on Platja Llarga (open only on weekends in low season) A golf course just up the road and another in La Pineda The Priorat wine region is just an hour away Barcelona is just an hour away, with excellent road and rail connections There are tons of top notch, cutting edge restaurants in the area, as well as traditional Mediterranean seafood and country style food (masias) A large theme park for the wee ones, PortAventura, 20 mins by car, as well as water parks Great mountain biking right out the front door in every direction (except the into the sea) Loads of museums in town, and 3,000 years of history, pre-dating the Romans Two tennis clubs nearby Lots of shopping opportunities in Tarragona and Reus Tarragona is a very lively city, there is always some type of cultural activity going on

Neighbourhood

Our flat is in a forested neighbourhood, "Els Boscos", meaning "The Woods". It has a large balcony with sea views overlooking a small wooded garden and an outdoor barbecue. Just 15 minutes by foot down a forest path to a fantastic beach; 10 minutes by car to Tarragona, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, a typical quaint European town filled with little plazas, great restaurants, tapas bars and shops where there is always something happening; and an hour to amazing Barcelona.

Getting around

There is bus access to town and back every 15-30 minutes. The bus takes about 15 minutes. Once in town you can walk everywhere. The beach is a 20-minute walk down a forest path, or a couple minutes by car. We recommend having a car or a scooter. Car trade is a possibility. I have a motor scooter if you're daring.
