General Overview

Our home is in central Vancouver in a neighbourhood called Riley Park. It is a quiet and family oriented area with nice neighbours around us. We are within walking distance to many shops including a weekly farmers market and close to trendy shops along Main st. It is a 15 min drive to downtown and a 25 min drive to the city beaches. We also live close to a community centre that has a pool, curling rink, and skating rink. It also has a library attached to it and in the summertime there is an outdoor pool. Next door to the community center there is a baseball stadium with weekly games (fireworks on certain nights!)

The Space

Cozy and clean 2 bedroom basement suite with a private entrance. Includes in suite washer/dryer, two bedrooms each with queen beds, a full bathroom and fully stocked kitchen. The use of our bikes can be included as well as our car.

Guest Access

About 10 low height stairs leading down to the suite.

Notes

We have use of the upstairs with a dog and one cat.

Neighbourhood

Riley Park neighbourhood is a popular area for families with parks, a big cemetery for long walks, bike rides and lots of cute shops along Main Street (10 min walk from our home). There is a well known European corner coffee shop a couple of blocks from us that has amazing pastries! http://www.marchestgeorge.com/

Getting to my home

20 minutes drive from the Vancouver airport by car. Additionally, the Canada Line rail will bring you from the airport right into the city at which point there will be a transfer onto one bus to our home.

Getting Around

*use of our car can be arranged. We are located down the street from a bus stop that will take you straight to downtown and to the Canada Line subway. We have a good walking score in our area in that there is a pharmacy and grocery store right down the street for convenience as well as a popular Polish sausage shop and a liquor store to name a few.
