Neighbourhood
There are many varied restaurants within walking distance of our home.
Our personal favourites include a Middle Eastern restaurant, a local brewery with a games arcade and outdoor patio serving pizza and pub food, and a Portuguese cafe (all one block away). Within a 15 minute walk, we also particularly enjoy a local Ethiopian restaurant, and a very popular Indian restaurant.
Nearest airport
Pearson International Airport is about 45 minutes away by Uber or taxi, though it could take longer in rush hour traffic.
The nearest airport is Billy Bishop downtown airport. This airport is approximately 25 minutes away by car, or 45 minutes by public transportation. There is a shuttle bus available from the downtown airport to the subway line.
Getting Around
A supermarket and drug store are only two blocks from our home. There is a library within a 15 minutes walk.
We are very close to two bus routes, including the Dufferin bus which runs to the Bloor St. subway line (5 minutes away).
