General overview

This spacious home is located on 6 acres in a beautiful rural area but just 8 minutes to the historic Santa Fe Plaza and world-class museums and art galleries galore. There are trails out our back door and sweeping views of the Pojoaque Valley looking north. On the top of the ridge behind the house you can see the Sange de Cristos to the east and all the way to the Jemez to the west and the valley to the north. It is a contemporary southwest style home with tile and laminate flooring and vigas in the living room and dining room and Mexican tile in the bathroom. There is a water feature with a pond and fish in the back and several bird feeders. It is truly an idyllic and natural setting, yet close to town.

The space

The home has a light filled living room, dining room, office/ tv room with exercise bike. The master bedroom is upstairs and has a king-sized bed with luxurious bedding. The guest bedroom has a queen-sized bed downstairs. Each has its own private full bath. The master has a large viewing deck with chairs and a table for enjoying the night sky and summer evenings. There is a back yard natural garden area with a water feature for relaxing off the kitchen and dining area.

Guest access

There are two stories with a few steps up to the main entrance.

Notes

The house has a studio that is separated from the main house above the garage that is a rental unit. Only one person lives next door and is very quiet and respectful. We can provide you with a free museum pass for access to all 4 state museums including the Museum of International Folk Art, Museum of Indian Arts and Culture, New Mexico Museum of Art and the Vladem Contemporary, and the History Museum and Palace of the Governors. Pass also provides free access to the Georgia O'Keeffe Museum.
