General overview

Our home is spacious with 3 bedrooms, a big lounge, two full bathrooms, and even a lego room for the kids! We love the view from our windows too, on a clear day you can see the bay and the Kaimai mountain range, and the sunsets from here are just gorgeous! We also live walking distance to the Waikareao estuary and McCardles bush so you can enjoy close proximity to some of the nature areas we love. We have all the amenities you might need in the house, but we're also walking distance to a supermarket, petrol station, corner dairy, cafes, and an Indian restaurant.

The space

Our house has grassy areas on all sides, and a fenced backyard and front yard. We have two tangerine trees, a grapefruit tree, and an apple tree that you can enjoy! The front has beautiful camellia flowers and a gardenia, as well as a little succulent garden (with hidden dinosaurs!). Inside are three spacious bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a lounge, dining area, and kitchen. We have a tv and internet, anything you might need!

Guest access

This house is all one floor and was originally remodeled to be wheelchair accessible. None of us are currently in wheelchairs so we don't use it that way but are happy to move things out of the way to make it wheelchair accessible again. The bathroom in the master bedroom is wheelchair accessible.

15 minutes drive from Tauranga (Mount Maunganui) airport, 2.5 hours drive from Auckland airport, 45 minutes drive to Hobbiton Film Set, 15 minutes drive to Mount Maunganui main beach, 1 hour and 15 minutes drive to Hamilton, 1 hour drive to Rotorua, 2 hours drive to Taupō, and 3 hours drive to Tongariro National Park.
