General overview

You will have plenty of room to spread out in our 2275 square foot home that has a bright kitchen, TV room with a fire place, a formal dining area, spacious living room, large bedrooms and a patio and BBQ area. Very clean and comfortable at any time of year. Our home is located in a residential neighborhood on the northern border of the City of Napa. Just to the North are endless vineyards and wineries and to the West is Alston park, a 157 acre open space park. Hot air balloons float overhead most mornings and land a few blocks away in Alston Park. Our neighborhood is located on Dry Creek Road which is a popular route for cyclists. Within minutes you can be on some of the most beautiful wine country back roads. For a more challenging trip, climb up and over Dry Creek- Trinity Roads and you will find yourself in Sonoma County. You can also explore Alston Park, which has three miles of meandering trails that are open to equestrians, mountain bikers, hikers, and dog walkers. Napa Valley is well known for producing some of the world’s best wine, so while you are visiting you must set aside plenty of time to visit a few of the 400 plus wineries Napa has to offer. Napa Valley also has unmatched dining, whether you are looking for a Michelin Star Restaurant or a local taqueria, we have it all. **It is important to us that we know who will be at our home during the exchange so we ask that you inform us before an exchange is booked and that you do not offer our home to your family or friends without asking us first.** If we are not doing a simultaneous exchange, we will ask you to pay the fee of our cleaner.

Notes

We are located only about an hour away from San Francisco and a few hours away from Lake Tahoe. You should try to visit both if you are visiting California for the first time! You will NOT be disappointed! You can fly into San Francisco, Oakland or Sacramento airports, but we find the Sacramento airport to be the most convenient. Be careful of traffic! It can add a lot of travel time to your trip.
