General overview
Our home is large but cozy and bright, we are well set up for families as we have lots of toys in our dedicated playroom. It also works well for guests without children who want to relax in the pool and enjoy the outdoors. We have a master bedroom with a private Ensuite plus 3 more large bedrooms. One twin bed, one twin bed that converts to a very large bed and a small child's bed. There is an additional 4 piece bathroom upstairs and a powder room on the main floor. Downstairs we have a large living room with plenty of seating and the TV, large kitchen with breakfast area and a separate dining room with a 6 seat dining table. We have very high speed internet. The playroom is also located on this level. (our kids are 3 and 6 with lots of toys and crafts for that age group) We have AC in the house.
The highlight is the outdoor space, you can enjoy sitting out on the deck soaking in our incredible view. We have two outdoor seating sections, one is covered and a BBQ for you to enjoy outdoor dining. There is a fire pit at the bottom of the garden for those summer evenings.
We have a swimming pool that is completely fenced in for safety (its the law) You will really enjoy the pool as it gets sun to the late afternoon. The pool can be heated if it is necessary. We have sun lounges and pool inflatables for you to enjoy during your visit. There is a large backyard to play in with a swing and a small badminton net. We are in the middle of adding new furniture to the house, more pictures will be uploaded soon. If you would like more please reach out to me.
The basement is occupied by 2 very quiet tenants who have a completely separate entrance to you, they have their own self contained apartment and do not have use of the back yard. You do share the laundry facilities.
We are happy to exchange one car during your stay.
The neighbourhood:
We are located in the best neighbourhood in Peterborough, the West end. We are on a no through street so it is very quiet and safe. We have an abundance of hikes and bike paths. There are plenty of lakes, rivers and fantastic beaches just a short drive away. Peterborough is known for its festivals and farmers markets, they have a free concert every Saturday in the park which is a 10 minute drive away and is a lot of fun, it runs all summer. The main shopping street is a 3-4 minute drive away and has every shop and restaurant you can possibly need.

We are minutes from cottage country which has many outdoor activities and you can be in Toronto in 1 hour if you use the 407!
