⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Again a wonderful stay! We were now for the second time for six days with Martina and her family in the Czech Republic and have felt completely comfortable again. This time we were also able to get to know the family personally and were warmly welcomed with a loving welcome basket with sweets, freshly baked cake, fruit and vegetables. 🥰 The surroundings are beautiful – we walked around the lake with our dog every day. We also made great excursions, including to Ještěd, which we liked very much. A special highlight was also the small tour with Martina's husband over the farm and to the cows. 🐄🌿 At the end, we were even allowed to pick fresh plums, apples and pears from the trees. 🍎🍐 Thank you very much for your warm hospitality! We would come back anytime and can absolutely recommend the stay. ❤️

We are just back from an amazing stay at Martina's home. It is very spacious, clean & comfortable. They kindly left us lots of treats & useful food items so that we could eat when we got there - much appreciated! It is light & airy & we could relax after a hard day's walking. It was also good for our Labrador too, after he had managed to sort out the stairs! There is a lovely garden that we could sit in & we also investigated the other fields (without the dog) that housed Alpacas - we looked at them over the gate. One was very curious! The local people were very friendly, I took a walk into Chrastava, explored & had an ice cream. We did lots of walking which was great. A lovely circular walk around the village where we saw a medieval village museum, but didn't have time to visit. We walked up to the Ještěd Tower - very steep as it is a ski slope in the winter but afforded fantastic views & a nice lunch at the top. We also went to the Bohemian Paradise area & did an 8 mile walk there around the Prahov rocks part. Amazing rock formations, lots of trails & was more popular, which meant that we met lots of people from around the world - lovely. It was nice to experience a different culture (we're from the UK) & look at the architecture etc & try to say hello in Czech - not sure that they understood me though... We had lots of communication with Martina, which was lovely. We now feel that we know them as a family (very kind & polite) even though we have never met. We would recommend a stay at Martina's, thank you so much.

We had a wonderful stay with Martina and Vojta in Chrastava. Communication beforehand was excellent, and even though this was our very first exchange, everything went smoothly and without any complications. We found the house easily and were welcomed with a warm, cozy apartment and a thoughtful welcome basket filled with Czech delicacies and a handwritten note. Every detail was taken care of — even bath salts, which made our son incredibly happy. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the apartment is beautifully decorated with a lot of love and equipped with everything one could wish for. After our sightseeing day in Prague, we truly enjoyed relaxing in front of the fireplace in the evening. The surroundings are perfect for nature and animal lovers. We loved the peace and quiet, explored the garden, appreciated the fresh eggs from the chickens, and were delighted by the friendly alpacas. Even though the weather wasn’t always ideal, there were plenty of activities and places to visit, including shopping trips to Liberec and exploring the beautiful nature around. We felt completely at home and are already looking forward to another exchange.

We had a fantastic time in Martina and Vojta's apartment in Chrastava. Everything we could have wanted and needed was there for us. Really enjoyed all the old wooden beams in the loft. Ours was a non sim exchange and they were available for any questions or concerns that we had. They also took us on a great adventure around their farm, really appreciated and good to meet them in person after having been in touch for a long time. The area is ready for adventure - we really enjoyed the hiking in the unusual rock formations (like Hruba Skala Rock city and Marla Skaly mountain chain. Many hikes, bikes in both areas) and tours around the local towns. We think that biking in the area would be nice too, but got so busy with the hikes that we never unpacked our bikes. We also visited Lords rock formation, Pacinec glass garden and Novotny Glass Museum and brewery. You could have a drink and bite while watching the glass artist at work. Lastly we also did a 10 k hike up to see the Jested mountain, you could also just drive to the top or do a mountain bike ride. The views from the top are fantastic. They have ski lifts, also used for mountain biking at Jested mountain. We can highly recommend a visit with them and to their area. Thanks for a great time guys.
