General Overview
It is located in a quiet location, surrounded by nature, but within driving distance of the city and interesting tourist destinations. The apartment is on the ground floor with a lot of wood and a tiled stove. A large garden with ponds and many of our animals.
The Space
The apartment is spacious /75m°/ has 2 separate bedrooms, each with a double bed. The kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator, microwave oven, stove. Large living room with fireplace and dining room with large table. The bathroom is in the corridor next to the apartment with a bathtub. In the corridor there is also a rest area with a library and a hammock. Also available on the same floor is a large room /game room/ with billiards, an exercise wall for children and a children's corner with toys.

The apartment is located on the second floor without an elevator with its own entrance.
Notes
The apartment has all the equipment for children / dining chair, cot, baby bath, potty/.
Guests can use the adjoining garden and the more distant garden with ponds and many fruit trees and shrubs.
During their stay, they can collect homemade eggs from our hens.

We live in the north of Bohemia near the city of Liberec /Airport Prague 1,5 hours by car/. We live in an area called the Three Lands near the borders with Germany and Poland. Ideal for travelers who want to tour Central Europe (Wroclaw 2 hours by car, Dresden 1.5 hours by car). The surroundings are rich in mountains and rocks. In winter, you can use the nearby (0.5h by car) winter areas for downhill skiing /skiareal Ještěd/ and the second largest network in the Czech Republic for cross-country skiing /Bedřichov/. In case of bad weather, Liberec offers the large entertainment center IQ landia and Babylon with activities for children and wellness for adults,

The nearest shop, a supermarket, is in the next village / 3 km/ or further on in the town of Liberec with many restaurants. We recommend the best ones.

We had a wonderful stay with Martina and Vojta in Chrastava. Communication beforehand was excellent, and even though this was our very first exchange, everything went smoothly and without any complications. We found the house easily and were welcomed with a warm, cozy apartment and a thoughtful welcome basket filled with Czech delicacies and a handwritten note. Every detail was taken care of — even bath salts, which made our son incredibly happy. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the apartment is beautifully decorated with a lot of love and equipped with everything one could wish for. After our sightseeing day in Prague, we truly enjoyed relaxing in front of the fireplace in the evening. The surroundings are perfect for nature and animal lovers. We loved the peace and quiet, explored the garden, appreciated the fresh eggs from the chickens, and were delighted by the friendly alpacas. Even though the weather wasn’t always ideal, there were plenty of activities and places to visit, including shopping trips to Liberec and exploring the beautiful nature around. We felt completely at home and are already looking forward to another exchange. -
We had a fantastic time in Martina and Vojta's apartment in Chrastava. Everything we could have wanted and needed was there for us. Really enjoyed all the old wooden beams in the loft. Ours was a non sim exchange and they were available for any questions or concerns that we had. They also took us on a great adventure around their farm, really appreciated and good to meet them in person after having been in touch for a long time. The area is ready for adventure - we really enjoyed the hiking in the unusual rock formations (like Hruba Skala Rock city and Marla Skaly mountain chain. Many hikes, bikes in both areas) and tours around the local towns. We think that biking in the area would be nice too, but got so busy with the hikes that we never unpacked our bikes. We also visited Lords rock formation, Pacinec glass garden and Novotny Glass Museum and brewery. You could have a drink and bite while watching the glass artist at work. Lastly we also did a 10 k hike up to see the Jested mountain, you could also just drive to the top or do a mountain bike ride. The views from the top are fantastic. They have ski lifts, also used for mountain biking at Jested mountain. We can highly recommend a visit with them and to their area. Thanks for a great time guys.
