General Overview

This apartment, located in the historical center, has a wonderful view of the Palazzo Sforza-Cesarini just outside, and is within walking distance to many charming restaurants & places to hike/bike. Our home is filled with 100s of books. From the balcony attached to the bedroom there is a wide view of the seaside and the sunset and the valley in between. This is an old building that has a connection to the Palazzo across the way. It is part of the historical horse stable structure. It has a lot of charm and even a local legend attached to its origin as a living quarters, which I can tell you if you stay. On the street level is a popular pizzeria, the first floor is where the family who own the pizzeria live, and on the second floor is us. There is a cross breeze that travels through our apartment connecting the sea winds to the lake winds, making the space always feel refreshing and clear (and dries the laundry quickly)... We are at the highest altitude on the top of the highest hill in town. The ceiling is tall and the sunlight bounces around the apartment all day as there are windows on three sides. I only need to use artificial lighting after the sun sets
