Or home is a fully-updated 1960's classic Chapel HIll-style home tucked into an oak grove in the back of a quiet neighborhood. We are 12 minutes from downtown and 7 minutes from Whole Foods Market, yet the property is forested, landscaped with natives and Japanese maples, and peaceful. Very little street traffic. Great neighborhood for walking. We love our safe and low-traffic neighborhood!
The home itself has a great big screened-in porch off the kitchen that's useable almost year-round. Wood-burning fireplace. All the bedrooms are upstairs.

We are drawn to PLU for its emphasis on making new friends and traveling both nearby and overseas.

We left California after 20 yrs in the beautiful San Francisco Bay area, and are making a new life in North Carolina. But maybe we became TOO responsible. TOO serious. TOO hardworking here in NC. In any case, it's time to get back out into the world again!
We are Spanish-speaking (having lived in España before having kids) and respectful travelers. Dad is an ecommerce entreprenuer, mom is a former high school teacher, now stay-at-home executive, and we have 2 children in a local Waldorf school.
