Neighbourhood
Are you dreaming of a car-free holiday? You are in the right place!
The beach is right in front of the apartment, about twenty meters.... Incredible, right?... it is a wide beach of fine white sand, with a gently sloping seabed, very suitable for children, also due to the presence of a pine forest which allows you to stay in the shade without the need for an umbrella, which we are happy to put there anyway available. The beach is free, but if you want more comfort, about 150 meters away there is a series of equipped beaches (La Bussola, Holiday Beach, Rivabella - on the respective websites you can see the numerous services offered).
Even doing the shopping or having breakfast at the bar or eating in a restaurant is not a problem! The small square of Rivabella is 100 meters away, with its shops, bars, restaurants, newsstands, ATMs, etc. There are also numerous sporting activities that can be practiced in the surrounding area (horse riding, tennis, sailing, snorkelling, etc.)
Do you want to move? Don't just do the beach? No problem. Rivabella is in a very central position for all travel, thanks also to its proximity (1 km) to the entrance to the highway. In addition to the nearby Gallipoli (3 km) with its nightlife and famous discos and clubs, you can visit the entire Ionian coast or move to the villages in the hinterland or on the Adriatic coast, for a holiday full of fun, sport, culture, food and wine (there are many summer festivals), an all-round holiday, in short, you certainly won't be bored! We will be happy to give you some tips on the musts of your holiday
Getting to my home
For those arriving by car: use Google Maps by searching for "Ristorante Il Nuovo Ponticello Rivabella", it will take you right in front of the apartment
-For those arriving by plane or train: right in front of the apartment there is a bus stop to/from the Lecce railway station (Chiffi bus lines, you can consult the website for timetables) or from the Lecce station take the Sudest Railway train to the Gallipoli station and from there taxi/bus to Rivabella.
Nearest airport
Brindisi, about an hour's drive away, or by public transport

Hi, we are a family of two adults (me, a doctor and my husband, a lawyer) and two boys, very curious to learn about the world of home exchange! My parents and my brother often travel with us, so we prefer large houses, but we will still evaluate every proposal.
At the moment we would like to start with Italy and Europe, even exchanges of a few days
People Like Us is the world's most trusted home exchange community. We believe in sharing, trust, generosity, respect, communication, equality, cooperation, honesty, hospitality, friendship, flexibility and adventure. We take pride in our homes and we care about the environment in which we live: our village, city, country and our planet. We care about the ethos of home exchange and we do it because we love the experience and the friendships that it generates.
