Our home was built by us 20 years ago, and we raised our 3 children, and now share it with a 2-yr old grand child. It is on a quiet street, close to  downtown with plenty of local restaurant and shopping choices. We are also blocks from a bikable riverfront pathway and park area that includes a small-venue amphitheater that attracts national and international music acts throughout the summer months. (We have bicycles you may use). Also along the way are the Butterfly Pond, a man-made set of ponds for stand up paddle boarding or kayaking. It parallels the Colorado River, where you can take on a more challenging flow if you’re up to that. In the local area is also the Colorado National Monument, a beautiful canyon of red rock formations you can view from a scenic drive, or hike through from various trailheads. We are a 90 min drive from Moab, Utah, where you will find amazing hikes, mountain biking, Jeep tours, ATV trails, car shows & festivals. Heading east will take you to Glenwood Springs, Vail, Aspen, & Breckenridge. We are in a warmer and more temperate climate than the traditional Colorado Mountain Town. Heading south will take you to the Four Corners area, including the ancient Native American archeological wonder of Mesa Verde.
