Neighbourhood

There is a lovely pathway that goes around most of the lake. There are 2 viewing decks along the way. To access downtown there is public bus. Our local downtown has many good restaurants that we can recommend. We can possibly do a car swap. We are located on the outskirts of Victoria with easy access to the highway that leads to either downtown Victoria or local island attractions. The Malahat Drive offers spectacular scenic lookouts. There is a lot of spectacular hiking and beaches in this area. To name a few attractions… there are many more! Esquimalt Lagoon/Ocean Blvd 18 minutes Mary Lake Nature Sanctuary 5.5 kms Goldstream Prov Park 7.3 kms East Sooke Park 26 kms Sooke Potholes 29kms Hatley Castle National Historic Site 14 minutes Butchart Gardens 21 kms

Nearest airport

Victoria international airport is about 30 minutes away by car. There are taxi and Uber services available as well as car rental.

Getting Around

A possible car swap is an option. There is a public bus stop about a 10 minute walk from our home but for ultimate freedom and fit in everything you would like to see during your visit we recommend renting a car. Area attractions are spread out throughout the capital region. Downtown Victoria is very scenic and once you were there, you can access everything on foot.
