Seeking: Melbourne area for Australian Open (Jan 14-28 2025) We REALLY like 1 month exchanges. Come live in our B.C. paradise - all year round resort! Brand new 3 bedroom Chalet located steps from all the action and Silver Platter chairlift. 2 primary king suites (one with walk in steam shower) and a quad bunk room to fit the whole family. Oversized gourmet kitchen overlooking the family room with cozy couch and views of all the mountains over your natural fireplace. Dedicated ski locker room with boot warmers. Step outside into your private backyard retreat with a private hot tub, outdoor seating and eating area. Expected completion summer of 2024! Now booking Fall 2024 and on. We homeschool our children (aged 16, 13, 10) so we love long exchanges! All season resort! ❄️WINTER ❄️ Panorama Mountain Resort (IKON PASS!) Panorama has 2,975 acres of terrain – ranging from wide open fall-line cruisers to powder-filled tree lines and the steep and deep exhilaration of Taynton Bowl. The ski area is perfect for a variety of abilities with 50% of the runs suitable for beginners or intermediates. Very family friendly! For black-diamond runs, head to Taynton Bowl. Formerly a heli-skiiing area, Taynton Bowl is now within bounds, so the slopes are patrolled, avalanche controlled and no backcountry gear is needed. Warm up first as the 750 acre bowl is all black runs. ⛷️ Not just downhill! groomed cross country skiing as well as snowshoeing! (snow shoes provided at chalet!) ⛱️ SUMMER! All the resort amenities are in full swing with the cool pools, waterslides, lift access downhill mountain biking and hiking, white water rafting, mountain roller coaster, rope park, euro bungie, summer camps and more! SPRING & FALL ! Our favourite time to visit! Many of the resort amenities are still available, but without the crowds. Hiking, trail riding, pickleball/tennis/basketball are all available, as well as golf and the numerous hot tubs/pools, saunas and gym. Now is also an excellent time to explore the surrounding area since winter and summer are quite busy. Check out the natural hot springs and mountain summits!

Getting to my home

Getting here is part of the fun! We recommend flying into Calgary and taking the 1.5 hour drive to Banff for a stopover. Then continue on Highway 93 for another 1.5 hour to our beautiful mountain. It's an incredible drive all together and we can recommend many little stops along the way to hike and picnic. We are a young family of 5 that have fallen in love with traveling. Our jobs allow us the freedom to travel and we would like to do so with our children. We are an active healthy family that loves to spend our time outdoors. We love to hike, rock climb, surf and explore new culinary treats. We have made our living investing in real estate. We take great pride and care in our home and rest assured, will with yours as well. Our children are kind and gentle and very well behaved. Your home will be in loving hands. In 2018 we house swapped all the way around the globe on a family gap year. It was incredibly successful and we look forward to continuing the adventures with PLU. We like to split our time between international travel and exploring Canada/Usa/Mexico in our motorhome. We live fully off grid and self contained when doing so.
