Neighbourhood
The neighborhood, also known as the centre-ville of Casablanca, is a great jumping-off point for exploring the city. There are many local restaurants, bars, and shops nearby. It's a 20-minute walk from the Casa Port train station, a 15-minute walk from the historical old medina, and less than a 10-minute walk from Arab League Park and Mohamed V Square. The nearest tram stop (Mohamed V Square) is a 5-minute walk away, and petit taxis are readily available.
Nearest airport
The Mohamed V Airport is about an hour away via car, or 45 minutes via train.
Getting around
Many of Casablanca's main attractions are located within walking distance or a short drive away from the apartment. There are local shops selling fruit, vegetables, and dry goods within a 5-minute radius. You can access many things by walking; otherwise, taxis or the tram are good ways to get around.

People Like Us Local Guide
For anyone visiting Casablanca, I'm happy to meet up if my schedule allows! Otherwise, I'm happy to share recommendations for exploring the city.
Laura was very well prepared for our visit. Apartment was well organized and very clean. Loved having washer and balcony to dry. Laura was very responsive to any questions. We enjoyed being able to meet up with her before we left. The location is ideal for exploring the central city. The area is a bit gritty but felt safe with a 24 hr doorman. Lots of restaurants, transportation and shops within a couple of blocks.
Laura was brilliant and the apartment was a great way to experience Casablanca. Laura helped enormously with her local tips and advice which contributed greatly to a smooth stay in Morocco. I loved every minute of it and highly recommend it here.
Laura was the ideal guest. Communication was smooth and quick, everything was easy, and she left everything spotless. It would be a pleasure to host her again!
Tracy and John were great guests that took excellent care of my home during their visit! They were easy to communicate with and thoroughly cleaned the space before leaving. Glad the timing worked out for us to meet up in person and I'd be happy to have you back any time!
I had a wonderful time staying at Harley and Ghanima's place! They were exceptionally accommodating hosts for what ended up being a very last-minute exchange. Before and during my exchange, they were responsive, communicative, and gave me great tips for the area. Their home was clean, well-equipped, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay! I'd happily exchange with them again.
Jim was a great guest! He was communicative, friendly, and left my home in great condition. I’d be happy to host him again anytime!
