General Overview
We live in a lovely, updated 4 bedroom house in the Sintra “suburbs”. It is a three story home (semi-detached) with a beautiful view of Pena Palace. In the first floor, you walk into the family room/play area which opens right up into our kitchen and dining room. In the kitchen, have a reverse osmosis water filter and a Nespresso machine. We have a wood burning fireplace that provides a lot of warmth in the winter. The open floor plan is amazing for families as you can see everything that’s happening. There is also a half bathroom on this level.
On the first floor, we have 4 bedrooms and 1 bathroom.

We have a crib in the last bedroom.
Each bedroom has an A/C and heating unit that is easy to control. Each bedroom also has a terrace with enclosed windows.
The bathroom on this floor has a bathtub and two sinks.
On the top floor, we have a huge open play area with a large TV, great for movie nights. There is one more bathroom on this level with a shower. The couch on this floor can convert into a bed that is 140x190.
We have a lot of toys for older children and toddlers.
We have a well behaved black lab who only stays on the ground floor (he isn’t able to climb stairs). He sleeps most of the day and is the calmest dog I’ve ever met, and would enjoy a short walk once a day. He can stay with family during your stay, but if there are allergies, it’s something to note.
The Space
We have four bedrooms, plus an attic that can be used as an office or play room with a couch that can turn into a bed. We have a half bathroom on the ground floor, a full bathroom (with a bathtub and two sinks) on the same level as the bedrooms, and a bathroom upstairs with a shower.
Guest Access
It is a three level house, with all the bedrooms being on the middle floor. We have a gated driveway and easy street parking. We live on a very quiet street.

Neighbourhood
Our neighborhood is very friendly and quiet. We are a short drive to a large shopping mall and have many grocery stores a short drive away. There are also some small cafes on the main street that you could walk to.
Nearest airport
The Lisbon airport is about 32km away (30 minute drive).
Getting Around
We are close to a bus line that can get you to train stations as well. Uber's are also pretty affordable. Getting to Lisbon can range from 15-25 Euros depending on the time of day. Having a car would definitely be easier.
