General overview
Our home is a modern 4 bedroom, 3 bathrooms terraced house in a beautiful historic town of Durham in the North East of England.
You are walking distance (20min) from the train station and the main attractions. Durham is renowned for its Romanesque Cathedral, Norman Castle and the University (3rd best in England).
Durham is well positioned and can also serve as a great base for exploring the North East countryside and Northumberland coast and National Parks; visiting other major cities or to Scotland.
The space
Our home is located in a quiet and safe residential area and faces onto a nice park. There are 3 Bedrooms + 3 bathrooms plus a study. It is light and spacious and has a warm and welcoming feel.
The house spreads across 3 floors (ground, 1st & 2nd floor).
GROUND floor: One double bedroom, a shower room with a toilet and a laundry/kitchenette.
FIRST FLOOR: Spacious kitchen and dining area, and a large living room and a toilet.
SECOND FLOOR: Two bedrooms (master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom + double bedroom), main bathroom and a study room.
Parking space is conveniently available in front of the house.
Guest access
Because the house is across 3 floors, there are some steps to get through. There are no child safety gates.
Unfortunately, our home would not be good for wheelchair access.
Notes
The house is our main family home so has some of our possessions around and is not immaculate like an Airbnb but is kept very tidy.

From Newcastle or Teesside Airport - (about 40min drive). While it is possible to take the train (not direct), we recommend to take a taxi or uber or rent a car.

Durham city centre - 20min walk through some nice greenery or 5 minutes by bus - the bus stop is very close. We always walk.
