General Overview

Our flat itself is approximately 50m2. It also has a very nice and big terrasse, with many lovely plants (We would be grateful if you could water them every couple of days!). The neighbourhood is lively and really enjoyable, with restaurants, a market, and cafés, right in the centre. We are on the quiet side of the street, inside the flat itself it is very calm.

The Space

There is one bedroom, and if needed the couch opens into a double bed to host more people (The flat is ideal for 2 persons, but can host 2 more with the sofa bed). Summers in Barcelona can be quite warm, luckily we have air conditioning in the main room, and an extra ventilator, so the heat is totally manageable. There is a projector above the couch for a home cinema experience. The terrasse has a table and chairs, it is lovely to have lunch and dinner there. If you work remotely, we have two raising desks that are ideal, we use them every day.

Guest Access

The flat is on the 2nd floor and there is no elevator.

Neighbourhood

The neighbourhood is great. Here people live outside, you can see kids playing around the corner, and the street we are on is semi-pedestrian (Very few cars pass by, and very slowly). There are many restaurants less than 5 minutes away. We are not in the most touristic part of town, more a local-living district.

Getting to my home

We are 20 minutes away from the airport by bus or taxi, and 10 minutes away from the main station (Sants) by metro. It is also very easy to get here by taxi from either the airport or the train station.

Nearest airport

El Prat (BCN), 20 minutes by Bus.

Getting Around

There are many shopping options in the neighbourhood: Farmers' market, larger market, supermarkets, small shops, excellent bakeries and convenience stores. There are 2 metro stops less than 5 minutes away. It is very easy to move around. You can also rent electric bicycles or an electric motorbike or take a taxi (They are widely available throughout Barcelona and usually not too expensive).
