General Overview

Welcome to our home in beautiful St. Augustine Beach, Florida! Our home is designed for relaxing, entertaining, and making memories with family and friends. Whether you're looking for lazy pool days, beach adventures, or exploring America's oldest city, we think you'll feel right at home here. Our spacious 3-bedroom, 2-bath home has plenty of room to spread out, with both a living room and a separate family room. The primary suite features vaulted ceilings and a large sunken soaking tub—perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach. But our favorite part of the house is definitely outside. ❤️ Our private, fully fenced backyard has a large screened lanai with a swimming pool and hot tub, comfortable outdoor couches, TV, dining area, and plenty of space to relax. During the cooler months, we bring out our fire table and love spending evenings outside. It's one of those spaces where you can have your morning coffee, spend the afternoon swimming, eat dinner outside, and somehow still be sitting there at the end of the night. Families will find LOTS to do here. We have bikes, a trampoline, basketball hoop, beach gear, toys, games, and plenty of things for kids to enjoy. A beautiful walking and biking path is located just outside our neighborhood. And then there's the location... 🌊 St. Augustine Beach is only about one mile away—around a 20-minute walk or an easy 5-minute bike ride. 🏰 Historic Downtown St. Augustine is just 10 minutes away, with cobblestone streets, incredible restaurants, live music, shopping, historic sites, and so many fun places to wander and explore. 🎶 Also within about 10 minutes of our home is the St. Augustine Amphitheatre, an incredible outdoor venue that hosts world-class concerts throughout the year. The Amphitheatre is also home to a wonderful local farmers market—one of our favorite ways to spend a morning. 🌴 Within the same area you'll find some of St. Augustine's most loved attractions, including the St. Augustine Lighthouse, marina, and St. Augustine Alligator Farm, all approximately 10 minutes from our home. There really is an amazing amount to see and do right around us. 🚀 We're also within easy reach of Kennedy Space Center and Cape Canaveral, making for an unforgettable Florida day trip. 🎢 Orlando, Disney and Universal are close enough for a day trip or overnight adventure, and Daytona Beach, Jacksonville and Amelia Island are all easy to explore from here as well. What we love most about our home is that you can have a real Florida vacation without having to choose between the beach, a resort-like pool experience, and a great city to explore. You can bike to the ocean in the morning, spend the afternoon floating in the pool, head downtown for dinner or a concert, and come home to soak in the hot tub. Our home is comfortable, welcoming, family-friendly and meant to be enjoyed. We hope you'll love our little corner of Florida as much as we do. ❤️🌴

Preparing Our Home for Your Stay We want you to arrive and immediately feel comfortable and at home. Before every exchange, our home will be professionally cleaned, with fresh linens on all beds and the house prepared especially for your stay. While this is our family home and our personal belongings will remain here, we’ll make sure you have plenty of space to settle in. Each bedroom will have a clothes rack and drawers available for your belongings, bathroom counters will be cleared, and we’ll leave plenty of open kitchen counter space. We’ll also clear shelves in the refrigerator and make room in the pantry for your groceries. We love the spirit of home exchanging—welcoming one another into homes that have been thoughtfully prepared, clean, comfortable, and ready to enjoy—and we look forward to caring for your home with the same consideration that we put into preparing ours. A $150 cleaning fee helps cover the professional cleaning and fresh preparation of the home between exchanges. We hope you’ll unpack, settle in, and truly make yourself at home while you’re here. ❤️

Neighbourhood

### Our Neighborhood We live in **Ocean Oaks**, a quiet, beautiful neighborhood tucked beneath mature oak trees draped in Spanish moss. Our home sits toward the back of the neighborhood on a peaceful cul-de-sac, and the tree-lined streets have that wonderfully romantic, old-Florida/Southern feel that makes St. Augustine so special. Just outside our neighborhood is a **walking and biking path that leads directly toward the beach**, making it easy to leave the car at home and explore on foot or by bike. There are also plenty of restaurants and local spots within walking or biking distance—from a wonderful **gourmet Italian restaurant and smoothie café to casual local restaurants and beach bars**. One of our favorites is **Beachcomber**, right at the end of our main street, where you can sit practically on the sand with the ocean in front of you. It’s the perfect destination for a walk or bike ride, a bite to eat, and a little taste of the laid-back beach lifestyle we love about living here. Our neighborhood feels peaceful and tucked away, while still being incredibly close to the **beach, restaurants, biking trails, and everything St. Augustine has to offer.** 🌴🌊
