We had a wonderful exchange to Lauren and family's home. Their home is so beautifully designed and decorated and was a perfect cozy place for our family (2 adults and 9 and 6 year old kids) to stay. Our kids absolutely loved all the toys to play with, especially the legos and climbing wall. I loved cooking in the beautiful kitchen. We went to the private beach every day that we could, and also enjoyed shopping and eating in downtown Holland. We appreciated and used many of Lauren's recommendations in her houseguide! Holland is a charming town and we would love to visit again.

We loved our stay in Lauren's home! It is beautifully decorated and perfect for families - our kids had a blast on the trampoline and the climbing wall. Lauren kindly put together a very thorough guide to the area; there are so many activities to do in the vicinity and lots to explore in the neighboring towns. We felt right at home and truly appreciate how Lauren went above & beyond with their hospitality!

I felt like a cherished guest at Lauren's home in Holland, Michigan. She prepared a bountiful set of Tulip Time and area tourist information for our stay (perfect, we hit the ground running). Communication was prompt and reliable. The home is just as lovely as the photos and very comfortable. The beds were divine, the neighborhood tranquil, and the location perfect. We walked to the private beach (lots of stairs, oh so worth it) and on the walking path right on Lakeshore Dr. Our favorite activities were the tulip gardens, the beach on Lake Michigan, and enjoying the many area parks and walking the miles of boardwalks on Lake Macatawa. I even went boating twice with the nearby Freedom Boat Club. This home exchange had everything I love about People Like Us: trust, reliability, safety, and beauty in a new area. I especially liked drinking the amazing coffee brewed in their fancy coffee maker (yes, we relied on the personal video with usage instructions). If you get a chance to exchange with Lauren and her family, say yes... you will see a beautiful side of Michigan.

We absolutely loved staying at Lauren & Aaron’s beautiful home!! The open concept home was warm and inviting and full of light! Lots of living spaces to gather and play games, read, or watch TV. The home is large, beautifully decorated, and extremely clean and we enjoyed every moment. Lauren is very communicative and I feel like we are now friends, although we have not met in person! Holland, MI, and the surrounding towns are full of activities and great places to eat. Loved being so close to the beautiful white sand beach and gorgeous sunsets of Lake Michigan. We highly recommend putting this home on your list!! A+++
