Neighbourhood

Biar is a well-preserved village with lots of charm, if you like walks and routes on foot or by bike, beautiful landscapes and local cuisine, you will not be disappointed. It is worth walking through the old town, visiting the museum, the castle and the beautiful chapel of the Church. On weekends there are also guided visits to the numerous hermits, the snow well, the Sanctuary, etc. We have a playground next to home, and the Paseo del Plátano with its monumental tree, ideal to rest and cool off in the hot months. Being at 700 meters of altitude, here we do not have the humid heat of the coast, we enjoyed cool summer nights and a very pleasant atmosphere.

Getting around

Biar is 50 km from Altet airport (Alicante) and 135 km from Manises airport (Valencia). Nearby visits: Villena and its castle, Treasure of Villena, Primadomus, (to 7 km); Banyeres de Mariola and the source of the Vinalopó River (15 km); Fontanars del Alforins and its many wineries (30 km away); Bocairent and "les covetes dels moros" (28 km); Onteniente and the pools of Pou Clar (40 km); Alcoy and the Font Rotja Natural Park (38 km), etc. From Biar you can also visit the coast and the most tourist cities: Alicante (half an hour by highway). Beaches of San Juan and Santa Pola (40 minutes by highway). Elche and its Palm Grove (50 km). Benidorm (80 km), Altea (95 km). Valencia is 130 km away), like Murcia and Albacete.
