General overview
The best part of our house is the sprawling views of the ocean and Portuguese countryside. Do you love wine, cognac and dinosaurs? Lourinhã, is one of the few brandy-making areas, besides Cognac, Armagnac and Jerez, that have received appellation status. There has also been paleontological remains, which include fossilized bones, footprints, eggs and even embryos from Jurassic dinosaurs. If you love surfing, this is a surfers' paradise. Our countryside is beautiful and there are hikes with waterfalls nearby. We also boast 12km of coastline with several popular beaches. The walled city of Obidos is 25 mins away.
The space
Master bedroom with views to the ocean and a terrace. Feels lush to wake up and lounge to fresh sea breezes. We're still moving in pictures forthcoming! Our calendar will be available soon.
Guest access
Four floors. Main floor enters to living room, dining room, kitchen and half bath. Next floor up is where you find primary bedroom and spare room. Also the master bath and guest bath with stall shower. This is the smaller bathroom. There is a garage at the lowest level of the house which will not be accessible to use for parking. The upper most terrace has two chairs that allow for indoor seating when there is too much wind or rain to still feel connected to the expansive 180 degree views.
Notes
This house has four levels if you mind stairs this is not the house for you. Although you can avoid most levels say garage level but it is where the laundry room is. Mainly you will be between the main floor and bedrooms. The upper terrace is just to enjoy views and take your coffee or read a book. Because of the multi-levels and stairs, this house is not suitable for those with handicaps or small children. There is a cleaning fee to ensure our house is returned as we left it. We still ask that you tidy up before you go and leave it as you received it. Cleaning fee is 90 euro. No smoking permitted on our property whatsoever.
