General Overview

Quiet, safe and sunny apartment in a "real", non-touristy part of Paris but near lots of shops, cinemas, restaurants, the Parc Georges Brassens, etc. Lots of public transportation. Walking distance to Montparnasse. Square across the street.

The Space

Bright and sunny, greenery, nicely decorated. Living room, dining room, 2 bedrooms (one serves as a study/guestroom but has a very comfortable trundle bed with Bultex mattresses that can be used as a single or a queen-size bed; the main bedroom has queen-size bed), and fully-equipped kitchen (with large fridge, dishwasher, oven and microwave). Bathroom and separate toilet. Washing machine in kitchen. Perfect for reliable, non-smoking couple or 1 to 3 singles. Bedding provided. Cable TV, with CNN, BBC, etc., high-speed Internet connection for Ethernet or WIFI, and free local and international calling. Good cross-ventillation (but no A.C.).

Near Vaugirard metro and 5 buses. (2 direct buses to Latin Quarter and BNF). 5 minute walk from Institut Pasteur, 2 mins. from Mediatheque Marguerite Yourcenar. 15 min. walk to Montparnasse train station. Calm street near shops, supermarkets, restaurants, cinema, open market (3 times a week). 5 minute walk to the Parc Georges Brassens.

Getting to my home

Fly to CDG or Orly airports and take a taxi, Uber or the RER B and then the bus or metro. If coming by train, lots of public transportation to and from Paris's different train stations.

Nearest airport

Charles DeGaulle about 45 minutes north of Paris. I live in the South. Orly Airport is only 15 minutes away.

Getting Around

Shops; cinemas, restaurants in the neighborhood. Or take the metro or buses to other parts of Paris.
