General overview

It's magical. If fairies existed, they would live here :-)  We are on top of the mountain,  we wake up and fall asleep to wide-open skies, awe-inspiring beauty, and an unhurried lifestyle near the town of Santiago  ( de Puriscal) . We love the "Pura Vida" of our home & property. For us,  spending time here reaps benefits for the mind, body, and soul. It’s also an opportunity to get away from it all and live amongst the beauty of the natural world.  
When you are inside, it still feels like you are outside because of the huge scenic windows. When you are outside, you feel like you are inside because you are still sheltered. I love hanging out on the huge porch when it is rainy season. Rain or shine, we can still be outdoors. I love my Gardening shed under the house......I love walking around the property and collecting the wild berries, the bananas, the little oranges, wild tomatoes, fresh herbs  and various other veggies and using them to help create our meals. I love that I can see the ocean.
