General overview
Voted as one of the most sunnies city in Italy, Cagliari is the capital of Sardinia, one od the major islands of Italy, right in the middle of the Mediterranean sea.
Our house is bright and very light-filled. The location of the house is just great.
The space
Our house is a large flat with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a large living room, a separate kitchen, and a closed veranda that we use as a laundry room.
The flat is on the 4th and last floor of a small building, so the house is bright and very full of light.
We have a terrace with a table and sofa-chairs. Especially during the summer we like to enjoy the fresh breeze on our terrace. If you are lucky by looking at the sky you can even see the pink-flamingos flying over.
The kitchen, as the rest of the house, is newly renovated, fully equipped (since we love cooking).
In the house we have plenty of toys and equipment for children up to 6.
We have wi-fi in the house.

Lift and stairs to get into our flat.

Neighbourhood
The Villanova district in Cagliari is an enchanting blend of history and tradition, a place where time seems to flow more slowly along cobblestone streets and pastel-colored houses. Nestled in the heart of the city, Villanova retains the ambiance of yesteryear, back when it was primarily inhabited by farmers and craftsmen. Today, this neighborhood is a true urban treasure, where the old and the new meet in perfect harmony.
Your home in this historic district is set against a backdrop full of charm and culture. Villanova is renowned for its secret gardens hidden behind the facades of homes, private green spaces that reveal themselves only to residents and their guests. The streets, lined with low, colorful houses, invite leisurely strolls away from the hustle and bustle of the center, yet remain just a stone's throw from the city's main attractions.
The neighborhood is a haven for those who love art and history, with ancient churches like San Domenico and Sant'Agnese Church offering not just a spiritual refuge but also a dive into local history. The craftsmen of Villanova continue to practice ancient trades, selling their handcrafted goods in small shops that dot the neighborhood, providing visitors and residents with a unique and authentic shopping experience.
