General overview
We love our Austin home. It gets plenty of sunlight all year long and we have a fenced in yard to enjoy when the weather is nice. My house will comfortably fit 6 adults, but we are open to housing more if the situation is right.
This 3 bedroom, 2 bath home is perfect for your work from home set up too. We have 2 office areas with standing desks and great wifi. If you are traveling with children or babies, we can provide you with our pack n play, baby gate, car seat, and baby monitor! Our home is great for all types of families and friends. We can’t wait to host you.
With 2 sitting areas, we have plenty of room to lounge and watch a movie or stay up late reading a good book. One sitting area is away from the television so you can chat with your friends/family undistracted.
- Main bedroom has king bed and bathroom connected
- 2nd bedroom has a queen bed + standing desk and chair
- 3rd bedroom has a queen bed
- Office has a standing desk + futon that can be used if enough people are traveling together
If you are traveling with a small group and only need 1 or 2 bedrooms, we will likely lock the 3rd bedroom so we can use it as storage during your stay. That way we can move all of our "stuff" we have out and about on a regular basis that might get in your way.
We are sometimes open to swapping vehicles during a reciprocal exchange so if that is something you are interested in, please let me know.

My husband (Jake) and I love to spend time hiking in the hill country around Austin, camping, trying new restaurants, drinking wine, playing board games, and hitting up local breweries. Above all else, our favorite hobby is traveling. We love exploring new cities and towns and learning about new cultures. My husband and I both work remotely so we are usually flexible with stays. We like to invite a couple friend with us on some exchanges, but sometimes we'd travel just the two of us.
