Our home is tucked into a quiet subdivision on the west coast of Vancouver Island. Beautiful inlet views and minutes from the wild ocean front. Right beside a world class biking path that winds through a National Park Reserve. We're five minutes out of town so a vehicle is necessary. World class surfing on the beaches in nearby Tofino and world class walking, kayaking, biking and hiking at our doorstep. It's a 100 year old home with brand new guest suites. We're offering the suites for exchange. We love in the top level of the home with our adult daughter.
Two one bedroom suites either together or separately, with an adjoining back hall if desired. You'll be delighted with heated bathroom floors, deep soaker tubs and very comfortable beds. Full fridges and microwaves as well as locally ground coffee and tea from a local shop in town.
We have an old dog that lives upstairs with us as well as an indoor cat. They don't enter the suites but we can't guarantee there won't be the occasional connection so please be aware if allergies are an issue.
The space
Each suite has its own entrance but they are joined by a back of house hallway if both suites are needed. There's a covered space and deck for each and plenty of room to store bicycles or surfboards or paddleboards. Free fiber optic wifi and smart TVs in both rooms. One suite has a king bed and a sliding bedroom door, the other a Queen bed in a studio setting.Full bathrooms with soaker tubs, one double, one single, heated floors and walk in slate showers. All shampoos, conditioner and shape provided as well as bedding and towels for the bath and the beach.
Guest access
Almost level entry, just a step over the sliding glass door. Keys are in coded lock boxes.
Notes
We have lived in this home for almost 40 years and have raised all our children here. This past year we've replaced the roof and embarked on some larger landscaping to provide immediate access to the inlet for kayaking or paddleboards. We expect that to be finished some time this summer, fingers crossed!
