Welcome to Couptrain! We hope you will enjoy living in this charming house close to an English pub and a delicious crêperie. You are also only a few kilometres from the beautiful spa town of Bagnoles de l'Orne with its excellent restaurants, lake and casino. Finally, you are just metres from the cycle path between Alençon and the medieval town of Domfront. Everything you need for a great stay!

Neighbourhood

Quiet neighbourhood within walking distance of a pub & restaurant. Your home is in a quiet village with a beautiful, picturesque and relaxing location, just 15 km from the beautiful spa town of Bagnoles-de-l'Orne with its casino, lake and charming restaurants. Your accommodation is also right next to the cycle path which runs for miles to Alençon and the ancient fortress of Domfront in both directions without using public roads. Further afield are the Normandy beaches and beautiful coastal towns, all less than an hour and a half's drive away.

By car: on the D976 By train: the nearest station is Briouze. This station offers a direct route to Paris. By plane: the nearest airport is Nantes. By bus: NEMUS buses pass through Couptrain, please check their timetables on the Flers-Agglo website nemus.flers-agglo.fr. Line 20 NOMADE from the Normandy Region (Flers - la Ferté Macé - Bagnoles de l'Orne - Alençon)

We're Lucie & Emilien, parents of Leon (2017) & Eliott (2020). We've always been homeschooling and would like to give our children the opportunity to know other cultures from the inside.
