General overview
Salem is located in the Willamette Valley. We are 50 mins from Portland which boasts some of the best food in the country. We are a little over an hour from the coast. 30 mins from Silver falls state park with 10 waterfalls. We are minutes from beautiful vineyards and berry farms with u-pick. Day trips to mountain hood, lots of hiking and the Columbia river gorge normally fill our summer. Oregon has wonderful summers typically in the 80s. Our house is in a cud de sac close to a nice little park and a few minutes from most needed stores. Salem has a wonderful downtown with minto brown park on the Willamette river boasting in size to be larger than Central Park. Our home is 3 bed, two bath. One of the bedrooms is a nursery. We have big vaulted ceilings and plenty of natural light. Our yard in the summer is a great place to relax with patio furniture and bistro lights. There are also yard toys for kids and adults!
