General overview
Al Hamra village is a beach lovers dream, many expats live here and holidaymakers are now coming here as an alternative to Dubai. The village is set around a lagoon and championship 18 hole golf course. A choice of swimming pools, gym, restaurants and bars. The Marina and the Royal Yacht club are within the village. as is the sailing club and beach bar. Many hotels are close by, a shopping mall, a large alcohol shop, many food outlets and taxis are plentiful
On site you can hire jet skis, paddle boards, or even learn to sail
The space
Small but well equipped studio on the 7th floor comes complete with 2 gorgeous cats called Jaxy and Bumble. My apartment is small but it does have a sofa bed which can accommodate a child or two. Cats are no trouble and are happy to be home alone for most of the day and again in the evening, or you can enjoy the balcony with them looking out over the lagoon and golf course, with a glass of wine or beer which I will happily provide in your welcome pack.
Guest access
Situated on the 7th floor with 4 lifts available.
Notes
2 older children can be accommodated, but unfortunately no toddlers as my cats are terrified of them.

Neighbourhood
You can travel into town (about 20 mins) for larger shopping malls, a stroll on the promenade with the lovely views and quaint little restaurants.
When you are done with the beach maybe a bit of adventure? The main attraction here is Jebel Jais, part of the mountain range that seperate us from Oman, home to the world's longest Zipline... If that too much then just relax on the viewing decks with a coffee. There are wadis to explore and hiking. Desert camps, and maybe a dhow cruise to Oman to watch the dolphins
Dubai you can reach in one hour if you fancy something different.
Oman is also only one hour away.
Getting to my home
Most travel into Dubai airport, we do have 2 smaller airports closer by if they are reachable from your part of the world.
Ras Al khaimah airport
Sharjah airport
Nearest airport
Dubai international
Getting around
We do have some public transport but most use taxi.
