Neighbourhood
One neighbor is very close by. Other neighbors are at a distance that you do not se our hear them.
Your home is a old farm house dating back to 1898. The house and landscape was processed by hand power. Imagen building a solid base of 80 cm in the cellar walls by stones and hole wood walls. And mowing thousands of rocks to cultivate the land.
You can enjoy the landscape from the window or garden and admire the work done by people living here back the. Between the fields you will se how much rock that needed to be carried away before the farmer could grow his potatoes and gras to feed the familys animals. The farm has actively feed a farm until the sixties. We overtook the farmhouse in 2018 and reintroduced animals and active agriculture. Unfortunately, we need a break from farming and prioritise you children and fulltime jobs. That why you can be so lucky to borrow our sweet home
Nearest airport
Evenes – Harstad Narvik airport (EVE). From here its 1 hour drive from the airport. An other possibility is Tromsø Airport wich is 4,5 hours drive avay.
Getting around
You will need a car here. The bus only passes once an hour on weekdays and much less in the weekend.
Harstad is the nearset town with approximately 25000 innhabitants.

We are an active family with two adults in their forties and 3 children at 6 ,8 and 10. We love being in nature for recreation, ecploring, palying and training, While we also like to hear local history, travel, try new things and get new experience. At home we go on trips in summer and winter, climbing, running and swimming. We love to go to mountain tops in summer and winter. Now we have gotten so old kids that we think its time to expand your experince globally.
The family can speek English, German, Danish, Kroatian and some Russian.
Feel free to contact us if you have a home close to climbing areas (sports and bouldering), sea, mountains and skiing or an interesting town.
