General overview

TANNERS GRANGE: The house is an architect designed, very large, modern eco house with lots of natural sunlight set in an acre with fantastic views of the rolling Cheshire countryside. It has all modern amenities and is very well served by public and personal transport links to London, Edinburgh, Manchester, Liverpool, Chester, the Lake District and many other places. The house is in a very quaint English village called Lymm which has many artisan and local produce shops, bars and restaurants. It has a lake, Lymm Dam, which has a wooded 2 mile walk through fantastic Constable style scenery https://www.lymmparishcouncil.gov.uk/gallery OUTDOOR SPACE: Externally the house has a large outdoor entertainment space with lots of space for picnics, garden games and sunbathing. There is a gas BBQ, Ooni pizza oven, vegetable garden (you are welcome to pick fresh vegetables). The garden was designed and planted by a landscape architect with a sunken garden surrounded by sweet smelling lavender and rosemary and is Mediterranean-styled with olive trees, grasses, rock roses and silver birch. The large freshwater swimming pond area is designed to be typically English with large deck and local planting to attract wildlife. The swimming pond is large enough to swim lengths in and is 2.2m deep for diving off the poolside deck. Note however that children need to be monitored and not left unattended as would all parties that cannot swim. The pond has a large decked area alongside with outdoor sun-lounge furniture. There are 3 large outdoor seated dining areas in addition. One in front of the kitchen/family room area, accessed by large folding glass doors seating 12 or more. A second to the rear of the property providing a dining table 10 so you can enjoy the evening sun and views and a third to the end of the zinc clad wing where the formal lounge and cinema can be found. This seats 6 and overlooks the swimming pond area. There is free parking for many cars on site by the house in the grounds. TANNERS GRANGE INTERNALLY: We have a 2 car integral garage with electric charging from the solar roof. 7 very large double bedrooms (5 with own en-suite). One of the bedrooms is on the ground floor with level access and twin beds for elderly or those with limited access. There is a 2 desk office away from main building for those who may need to do some remote working A ten seat dining room Cinema room with cocktail bar and drop down screen with projector. Family room with open plan fully fitted high-end kitchen, 6 seat breakfast bar and open plan entertainment area. Utility with washer, dryer, all cleaning products and microwave. Fully equipped gym with elliptical running machine, free weights, sauna and steam room. Music room/library with piano, guitar, vinyl record player, books covering many subjects, DVDs and games. The master bedroom is surrounded by stunning views of the countryside and has walk in robes and an en-suite with two person jacuzzi. The house is appointed in a simple yet sophisticated way making it equally appealing to families and to adult-only guests. It faces South and every room has fantastic views. TRANSPORT, LOCATION AND THINGS TO DO: We are set in an acre of countryside with spectacular views of the Cheshire countryside though less than 30 minutes from major cities Manchester, Liverpool and Chester. We have a local bus service so you can catch the Metrolink into Manchester to see United or City play football, go to the theatre, eat fantastic food, sightsee the many sights Manchester https://www.visitmanchester.com/things-to-see-and-do and Liverpool https://www.visitliverpool.com/things-to-do/ have to offer. A non-stop train into London takes only 1 hour and 40 minutes from Warrington Bank Quay station. You can also travel North with ease to places like Blackpool (look it up it is very unique!), The Lake District, Edinburgh Scotland. As you can see we are very central for travel and you can get a taxi from Manchester and Liverpool airports to our home within 20 minutes.
