General Overview

Our one-bedroom, second-floor Apartment is just a few minutes' stroll from Coogee Beach, one of Sydney's most beautiful beaches. Most of our furniture is new, as I retired last year from managing a cattle station in the Kimberly region of West Australia before setting up our new home here in Sydney. Coogee boasts some of Sydney's best restaurants and hotels, and there are also great cafes overlooking the ocean for your early morning swim and then coffee. We have a vibrant community here, with so many Irish ex-pats people are now calling the place County Coogee! There are buses at the door for the airport and the city.

Hi, my name is Brian O'Raleigh. Myself and my wife, Kadek, are looking for a house swap, or unit swap, in Galway, Ireland, in August/September 2025. I am an Irish/Australian author. My latest books, Passage to Inis Mór and Return to Inis Mór can be found on Amazon.com. My wife, Kadek, is a Chef here in Sydney, Australia, and we will be returning to Galway to launch the third book in a trilogy, The Seanchaí of Inis Mór. My life's work is based on the concept that there is a purpose and meaning to every human life. I have been influenced by the ideas of Joseph Campbell, Carl Jung, and David Hillman, among others and my books are designed to expose these concepts to a wider audience in a storytelling way rather than simply teaching. My wife and I walk and swim every morning. We are nondrinkers, nonsmokers, and lead a healthy lifestyle.
