We are quite flexible outside of school terms as we have other accomodation available for ourselves  so doesnt need to be simultaneous.

Neighbourhood

There is so much do nearby in a peaceful surrounding within walking or cycling distance but it is best to have a car. Large lake nature walk ,tennis courts , Wembley golf course ,/ mini golf , driving range ,  parks, playground - 1 km away   Movies & restaurants 2 km away Beaches 3 km away with restaurants cafe . Scarborough /city beach,  Floreat  beach nearby , Perry lakes , herdsman lake , bold park aquatic centre 2.5 km, perth city 7km. Catch a ferry to Rottnest Island , spend a day exploring historic Fremantle   Go to nearby scarborough beach markets , try surfing, kitesurfing, hire parasailing or jet boating or hydrofoils on the swan river . Visit Elizabeth quay or kings park or art galleries & museums . Penguin island in Rockingham is lovely to encounter wild penguins and seals . Swim with dolphins and see whales migrate . Go further north to see wildflowers , desert, pristine beaches , gorges , Exmouth or Broome or south to world famous wineries and surfing beaches . Or stay local and taste wine in the swan valley.  There are lots of activities if you are keen such as Escape room and indoor sky diving, Flying Fox on the Matagarjup bridge.  The best part of Perth is that its much less crowded than most cities , most beaches are stunning and few people on there and being planned relatively recently is well set out with lots of public spaces and without many traffic hassles and modern roads .

Getting to my home

30 minutes from airport - best driven but can be accessed by train then bus . Nearby buses route on person and hale road.

17 km from airport takes about 25-30 minutes by car

Getting Around

Grocery shops 1.5 km away , bigger shopping centre 2.3 km away with movies restaurants could walk ride or catch bus easy to park there if driving can organise to use our car if necessary .

We are a  family of 5 but our 2 adult kids don’t always travel with us . We love nature and adventures , skiing ,beaches and sailing and exploring new places . We have travelled the world but love to call Australia home . We live in Perth but have a holiday apartment in Hamilton Island . We both work full time as a geologist and doctor and our youngest has 2 years left of high school . She is learning French .
