General Overview
A unique, spacious house with ample outdoor space. In peaceful environment surronded by nature. Perfect for children who want to enjoy trampoline, indoor net or swings and also for adults who just wish to sit and relax. For me, it is the greenery around you, the bird songs you hear all the time, whether you are having a fresh morning coffee on the terrace, or when you are drinking red wine while resting next to the fire pit in the evening. Fresh eggs from the chicken house, large vegetable garden, and a small orchard for you to harvest as a bonus! All just a stroll away from a historic Slovakian town Trnava (I think our town is a true gem not yet discovered by tourists! )
The Space
Open plan living space, dinning and kitchen. Double height. Well connected with the outdoor terrace and garden via full width glazing. This is the space we spend 90% of our time. Spacious main ensuite bedroom, with a private terrace is also located on the ground floor. 3 additional bedrooms on the first floor, with the second bathroom. Guest WC adjacent to the main entrance.
Guest Access
Step free access to main floor, which includes also main bedroom. Parking for 2 cars possible on site.
Notes
We have a cat. He is very friendly, likes to stay indoors or outdoors. He does not need much care, maybe an occasional pat would be good. We also do have chickens in the back garden. Very nice ladies, who provide you with fresh eggs every day. If you sleep with the windows opened, and our rooster might wake you up!

Getting to my home
A car would be useful to have, as the public transport is not great. Alternatively, you can use our bicycles (We have 3 adult ones and 2 kids ones) Bicycles are a perfect way to travel over here, quick way to get to town, shops, waterparks, or also to the train station.
Nearest airport
Bratislava Airport - 40 minutes drive
Getting Around
A bakery, shop, restaurant and a cafe are within 15 minutes walk. Town centre with all the amenities ( supermarkets, shopping malls, etc.) is about 40 minutes walk, 10 minutes by bike. There are nicy bicycle lanes throughout the town. There is also a bus, which goes every 30 minutes.

Jana's home is awesome! We, a family of 5 with young children, had a 10 day stay in Juli 2026. We have enjoyed our stay a lot. The home is very spacious, and so is the outside space. The city of Trnava is a great place to stay; a charming old town with many things to see and do within cycling or even walking distance. It's a middle sized town, yet the home is at the edge of it so very peaceful. Jana was kind enough to let us borrow her bikes and electric scooter, and even arranged with her neighbours more bikes fitting our young(er) children. Actually all the neighbours were very friendly. Unfortunately we didn't get to meet Jana, as it was a simultaneous exchange, but we dit get to meet her parent, who were very welcoming (baking us cake!) and helpful. Thanks again for a great stay!
My family and I had a wonderful time staying in Jana’s house.
It’s a great spot if you want to visit Trnava, but also Cerveny Kamen Castle (about 15-20 min by car) or Bratislava.
But first of all the very house is so spacious, truly comfortable and beautifully designed, you can easily fall in love with it :D Even through it’s not that far from our city, we really felt like on holidays. We enjoyed spending time in Jana’s lovely garden, especcialy together with all the animals! It was hard to leave :D
The communication with Jana went very smoothly - she was soo heplfull!
We’re greateful for all tips and for your hospitality - would be great to repeat the experience in the future :D
Jana and her family stayed in our home for 10 days in July 2026. They were kind enough to care for our golden retriever as well. Everything went well, commutation was easy, and we kept in touch about the homes and dogs needs through frequent text messages. Jana was flexible and kind in meeting our needs, which was great.
It was a pleasure to host Jana and her family - I definitely recommend having them as your guests! :)
Special thanks for taking care of Greta (our dog)!
Feedback for Annelot·Simultaneous exchange·11 nights
The house was absolutely charming, full of character both inside and out. It made our stay feel like a true holiday—as though we were living in a fairy tale. At the same time, it was beautifully maintained, spotlessly clean, and equipped with all the comforts of a modern home. The spacious garden, outdoor seating area, and the nearby lakes were exactly what we were looking for, providing the perfect setting for a relaxing stay surrounded by nature.
Feedback for Annelot·Simultaneous exchange·11 nights
Annelot and her family took excellent care of our animals and garden during their stay. They communicated with us promptly whenever they had any questions or concerns, and they left the house spotless. They were wonderful guests, and I would be delighted to welcome Annelot and her family back anytime.
Feedback for Justyna·Simultaneous exchange·5 nights
Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful, spacious and artistic space with us. We felt both comfortable, inspired and creatively recharged - and we’d absolutely love to return someday. Wrocław itself was a joy to discover. We went kayaking on the river, enjoyed the sights around the Market Square, visited the zoo, and spent time in the parks. The city has such a good energy. A particular highlight for the kids (and us!) was your lovely, gentle Greta (dog, who stayed in house) - they absolutely fell in love with her.
Feedback for Justyna·Simultaneous exchange·5 nights
Justyna was a great help throughout the process - Communication super smooth, friendly and very helpful. All the great 'to do' tips made our planning easy. Thank you

Hello! We are an active family of 5. My husband is a Data Analyst and a volleyball enthusiast. I am an architect, and an animal lover. We are trying to be active parents of our 3 children – 13, 10(boys) and 8 (girl). We all love exploring new places and new cultures. Being a multicultural family, we would love to take the kids to as many different places around the world as possible, without the feeling of being tourists in a typical hotel, and avoiding exploring only the first-choice tourist attractions. We would like to offer the same to people who would like to stay at our place! We look forward to meeting new people and exploring what your beautiful countries have to offer!
