Surrounded by beautiful Dorset countryside the property is on the banks of River Frome and close to the Jurassic coast. Most of Dorset's main attractions are within 5 miles.
"What a beautiful place to stay, we felt so at home the minute we walked in the door. it is such a beautiful conversion, we felt very lucky to have found this gem. very tastefully decorated, but so comfortable.
This unique property known as 'The Tower' is part of the beautifully converted Church. Built in 1829 on the River Frome, it has easy access to the river for canoeing and is very close to all the major beaches of Dorset. 'The Tower' incorporates the front entrance to the original Church and a large proportion of the remainder. It retains many original features and is now a modern comfortable and unique home from home.
The space
It has a large open plan dining area and kitchen on the ground floor, a wonderful lounge upstairs with a spiral staircase up to the bell tower. It has incredible views over the Purbeck hills and was featured on BBC's 'Escape to the Country' as the mystery property.
Guests will have private use of the property for the duration of their stay. There is full use of the extensive gardens which comprise many interesting features!

The Tower is located on the River Frome, within 2 miles of Dorset's stunning Jurassic coast. Close to the picturesque market town of Wareham, and a short drive away from Poole, Bournemouth, Dorchester and Weymouth.
The famous tourist attractions of Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door, Corfe Castle and Studland are close by and easily accessible by car or bike.
It is the ideal base for families with children with Monkey World, The tank Museum, Steam Railway, ferry trips, fishing and miles of beaches within minutes.
It is just 2 hours from London Waterloo on the mainline rail service to Weymouth.
With beautiful views of the Purbeck Hills, and lovely walks along the River Frome this is a romantic and historic location deep in 'Hardy' country. The Church is the probable location for Tess of the Durbeville's marriage. The church was built in 1829 and retains many original features, yet has the comfort and warmth of a recent conversion to the highest standards of modern luxury.
