General Overview

Located in the suburbs of the Canadian Capital, the house offers the best of nature and the city! On the edge of national parks, the place is perfectly located to enjoy forest trails and magnificent lakes. The neighborhood is quiet and very safe. It is not uncommon to see deer, porcupines, squirrels, turkeys and other wildlife around the house. But only the ones that are cute and adorable to look at! The Ottawa region is particularly interesting to visit in all seasons, with its many festivals, restaurants, museums and heritage buildings.

The Space

The house was designed and built by us. Light comes from everywhere throughout the day. The house is large and each room has its charm. The solarium is perfect for summer evenings. Lighting a fire and enjoying the spa is one of our favorite rituals throughout the seasons. In the evening, the sky is lit up with stars due to the absence of light pollution.

Neighbourhood

Very quiet area. We only hear the sounds of nature. In the summer, we don't see the neighbors' houses. There are a lot of walkers. The small neighborhood park attracts young families but also teenagers with its basketball court and skate park.

A car is necessary as there is no public transport near the house.

Ottawa International Airport (YOW) 35 minutes by car.
