General Overview

Family friendly Large 4 bedroom detached house with 6 double beds. Very large garden with large trampoline, soccer nets, swings, climbing wall, bikes and garden toys. 
Large outdoor eating area perfect for a large gathering. 

We are located 1km from the small village of Freshford. It has a petrol station and local shop small cafe pharmacy medical centre and pub.
We have 2 lovely local swimming spots. Woods with 3 bike trails. Great swings in the woods and walking trails all around us. 
10km from the historical city of Kilkenny. Kilkenny is known for its great food boasting 2 Michelin star restaurants. It's biggest attraction is Kilkenny castle and the medieval mile. Www.visitkilkenny.ie
3km from Jenkinstown park.
8km from castlecomer discovery park.

5km from Dunmore caves.
We are with in easy access on the M8 motor way to cork and Kerry and the M9 motor way to Dublin. Both with in easy reach for a day trip.
We are very centrally located to easily access most of Ireland. Kilkenny its self and the ancient east has enough to happily entertain a family during a holiday

Child friendly Large 4 bedroom detacted house. Secure garden with in ground tarmpoline swings and sand pit basket ball and soccer nets. Tarmaced drive perfect for bikes. Bikes trikes scooters tractor.
 4 bed rooms 2 rooms with 2 double beds in each. 1 room a double bed 1 room with a single bed.
2 bathrooms 1 wc.
Open plan kitchen living dinning room. Large outdoor patio area and BBQ.
Playroom with boys and girls toys with a lot of Lego and books.
Full utility room with washer and drier. Outside clothes line.

Guest Access

2 floors 4 bedrooms enclosed garden.
Kids toys, bikes scooters, adult racer and road bike, roller blades kids and adult, trampoline, ball wall and den.

Notes

We have a beautiful Golden Newfie dog called Miska. She is an outside dog. She is extremely friendly and can stay at home during exchanges as she has done in the past or we can make other arrangements for her if it suits better.

Our house is walking distance to the local village but you will need a car from there.

Dublin and Cork Airports are equal distance from our home.

Getting Around

A car is required. We are 1km walk to the local village. 10minute drive to 2 motor ways with good connection to major cities like cork Dublin Waterford. 
20minute drive to Kilkenny city

My daughter could not have put it better when she described staying in Caoimhs home.She described an exchange that delivered only comfort,kindness and the very best of Irish hospitality. I contacted Caoimh at the last minute and she could not have been faster at responding,flexible and oh so welcoming. An exchange I am so grateful for as my daughter was starting her first placement as a junior doctor and had no accommodation for her first week.Caoimh and her lovely family and doggy offered a home from home to her and her friend for which Im very grateful,thank you.

Just last week, we finalized a home swap with the Nolan family in Freshford. Their spacious and stunning residence is perfectly suited for both multi-generational and multi-family exchanges. The house was clean and incredibly comfortable, it has a well-equipped kitchen that had everything we needed to prepare family meals. We were delighted to discover ample outdoor space, ideal for barbecues and leisurely evenings outdoors. Adding to the charm of the experience, they have an adorable and affable dog named Mish. Moreover, the location is incredibly convenient, providing easy access to both Kilkenny and Waterford.
