— Our 1 bedroom home is a 20 minute walk from the Eiffel Tower and a 5 minute walk from the UNESCO Headquarters. — We're a family from the United States of 3: solo mama +2 littles, immigrants to overseas living, currently calling France home. Navigating our world as citizens of our planet, trying to understand our place and responsibility in it. I'm a middle school teacher settling in France after more than a decade overseas and mama to a 5.5 year old and almost 3 year old. (updated Jan 2026) Because I travel alone with my littles, I seek child-friendly homes/ destinations, preferably with easy access to public transportation. (Unless in Los Angeles.) Our holidays revolve around the school calendar, so breaks that are less than a week long would not be spent traveling outside western Europe. *** We are a no shoes, no smoking/ vaping, no pet home. ***
