Typical Parisian neighborhood in the family-friendly 15th arrondissement with access to food (butchers, fish mongers, bakeries, pre-made food/ catering shops, vegetable & fruit stands, restaurants, bars, supermarkets— general, organic and Asian markets), florists, pharmacies, parks/ squares and easy access to numerous buses and metro lines. Shopping centers are easily accessible, as are the variety of famous landmarks. We are also walking distance to the top children's hospital in France and a stone's throw from the UNESCO Headquarters.

—Our 1 bedroom home is a 20 minute walk from the Eiffel Tower and a 5 minute walk from the UNESCO Headquarters.— We're an American family of 3: solo mama +2 littles, immigrants to overseas living, currently calling France home. Navigating our world as citizens of our planet, trying to understand our place and responsibility in it. I'm a Social Studies teacher settling in France after more than a decade overseas and mama to an almost 5 year old and 2 year old. (updated Feb 2025) Because I travel alone with my littles, I seek child-friendly homes/ destinations, preferably with easy access to public transportation. (Unless in Los Angeles.) Our holidays revolve around the school calendar, so breaks that are less than a week long would not be spent traveling outside western Europe.
