—Our 1 bedroom home is a 20 minute walk from the Eiffel Tower and a 5 minute walk from the UNESCO Headquarters.—
We're an American family of 3: solo mama +2 littles, immigrants to overseas living, currently calling France home. Navigating our world as citizens of our planet, trying to understand our place and responsibility in it. How do we maintain our curiosity and desire to explore more of it while also not trying to normalize flying as the main way to travel?
I'm a Middle School teacher settling in France after more than a decade overseas and mama to a 4 year old and 22 month old.
Because I travel alone with my littles, I seek child-friendly homes/ destinations, preferably with easy access to public transportation. Our holidays generally follow the school calendar, so breaks that are less than a week long would not be spent traveling outside western Europe.
Our lovely 1-bedroom home is quaint and homey— not luxurious or hipster-Instagrammable by any means but our comfortable haven in this city of light.
PRIORITY: Looking to home swap July-August 2024 with a family in the Redondo/ Hermosa/ Manhattan Beach area.
For other short-term holidays (less than 2 weeks), open to destinations that are preferably accessible by train and for longer holidays, open to destinations in the Americas, Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
